主要研究领域及兴趣:
本实验室以冠状病毒(SARS-CoV,MERS-CoV)、艾滋病毒(HIV)及乙型肝炎病毒(HBV)为研究对象,通过解析病毒蛋白的结构功能关系,揭示病毒复制转录的机制,从而鉴定新的抗病毒药物靶点。在此研究的基础上筛选抗病毒先导化合物,同时利用基因治疗的手段开发抗病毒治疗新策略。
We adopt Coronavirus, HIV and HBV as research models to investigate the mechanisms of viral replication and transcription. Moreover, the functional structure study of viral proteins is performed to identify the novel antiviral drug targets. Based on those virology researches, we are screening the antiviral lead compounds and developing novel antiviral treatment strategy, such as gene therapy.
